Welcome to live it to give it! ~ website of healer, author, creative muse, lifestyle coach, speaker, group facilitator, spiritual companion and artist of being alive, Kayce Stevens Hughlett. My personal and professional mission is to help others break out of self- and structurally-imposed limitations in order to shine their lights brighter in service to the world. Whether it's through conversation, a blog post, one of my books, a workshop, or chance encounter, my hope is that others will feel a pinch shinier, slightly less alone, and more fully connected to themselves after hanging out with me. This is how we change the world ... through love of self, curiosity about others, expansion through compassion.
Live it to Give it is about living a whole-life experience. When we are compassionate, kindness returns to us. As we step into our deepest fears, joy ultimately rings out on the other side. Love begets love. The natural response to living a love-centered life is a growing desire to give generously in the world. When we know self-love, we offer it more easily to others. When we embrace freedom, we seek equality for everyone. When we speak from a place of truth, we learn to give and receive more honestly. Live it to Give it is about fostering a world where love, freedom, and truth are lived, offered, and received in abundance.
When I hear the words live it to give it, I see the multiple faces, stories, people, and lessons that have helped shape my life’s journey. I offer abundant gratitude to my teachers along the way—professors, friends, family, clients, and mentors, including Martha Beck who is attributed with coining the phrase in the early 2000's for her life coach training programs.
My friends and clients range from breaking-into-the-world young adults to rock star septuagenarians. Women. Men. Entrepreneurs. Artists. Chaplains. Coaches. Parents & more. What we all have in common is a zest for life, a thirst for deeper connection, and the willingness to step out of other-made boxes and define our own unique giftedness.
